Love these photos! Love how my girls can actually sit, talk and cuddle each other, doesn't happen very often but I know deep down they both love each other and will grow into the best of friends! Below is a layout I created hoping to capture their closeness. I am truly blessed to have two very different but gorgeous daughters, so very proud of them both.
Prima papers are from Annalee Collection & Madeline Collection, Assorted blossoms, Twiddleybits chipboard swirls, DA corner and Prima swirls. Scrapworks rubon letters. TFL!
Have a scrappy day, let loose your imagination and create!
Only just got the word a day or two ago and I am sooooo very excited and over the moon, was SOOOO hard to keep it quiet so am relieved that its now official. Along with three other wonderful scrappers I was selected to be on the Design Team at Scrapbooks From The Heart how awesome is that!!
there just never seems to be enough hours in the day! Haven't had much time for scrapping these last few days what with sick kids, sick horses needing attention and just your usual day to day happenings, housework, cleaning, running children here and there, all the usual things we must do and attend to. So I thought I would update with a couple of layouts I did some time back and never got around to putting up. First one is of my gorgeous boy and his beautiful girl before the ASHS year 12 ball, second is of my cute little princess.
Sorry not a good shot, is on a tilt but you get the idea.
Kaiser papers, DA frame, Petaloo color me crazy flowers with assorted blossoms made into a vine with leaves, Thickers playroom alpha coloured with Tattered Angels glimmermist & Ranger dabbers.
close up of the vines, had fun making this!
and the second layout below...
Bazzill, Prima papers, Prima floral vine, DA chipboard birdies, Scrapware chipboard name plate, kaiser bling swirls, beaded trim and assorted blossoms.

Have said it before lol but I seriously need to clean my scrapping space, especially my desk and hopefully I will find some mojo and don't they say start with a clean desk and clean up afterwards you tend to get more done, hmm shall we give it a go and see if they are right? Will let you know :)
Have a fabulous weekend and hopefully you too will get loads of scrappy stuff done :) thanks so much for stopping on by...
before I began scrapping I liked to make cards, nothing to flash but I enjoyed fiddling with papers, stamping and colouring the images etc. These days I don't usually find time to make many cards, usually just for family and friends on occassions then a friend suggested to start making them from the scraps that get left from doing a LO, great idea and one I plan to start doing, well when I eventually get organised lol. Then I will have a stash of cards to choose from when a birthday or special event comes along! Below are two cards I made recently, somewhat plain, they were quick and easy but just a little different. Hope you like them :)
First is a trifold angle card embellished with Prima flower and stick pins and a delicate butterfly!

Second card is very basic. I machine stitched the layers together, placed a few hand stitches using DMC floss and then added ribbon and a bow with a small metal flower and pearl.
Thanks for taking the time to drop by, hope you have managed to get lots of scrapping done over the last few days, my aim is to finish off some projects over the next day or two!
