Two sketch challenges

Every week Let's Scrap post challenges and below are my takes on the last two weeks. Sketches are fun and can help get the 'mojo' flowing, you don't necessarily have to make your layout or card exact and I find it interesting and refreshing to see everyone's different interpretations!  I don't normally do a double layout and most sketches seem to be doubles but its fun to use either side as your layout. Why don't you pop on over and give one of Cheri's great sketches a go :)

Adore

Last Friday night I went scrapping again at SFTH, usual chatter, laughter and fun was had and I managed to get one layout completed and another started. I have so many photos that need scrapping and then I have lots of layouts that need putting into albums, sigh! just never enough hours in the day! So here is another layout of my youngest, she is such a cheeky little thing but we all adore her! I have machine stitched around both layers and added lots of flowers, love flowers :)

Prima Melody collection, lots of assorted Prima flower - mainly older ones, Prima Melody notecards, Green Tara gems, Twiddleybitz Chippie, Kaiser Swirl bling ,  rubons and Manor House leaves.

Some close - ups! Look at those gorgeous Prima flowers!

Thanks for sparing some of your precious time and dropping in, hope you are all having a crafty fun day!

Friday Frenzy

Every second Friday my friend and I go scrapbooking at SFTH. We usually spend the night chatting, laughing, having a great time and most often than no do very little creating lol. We are off out again tonight so I thought I best be updating with the two layouts I managed to complete last fortnight :)
I am really really happy with both!
First layout is my beautiful eldest dd with my dh's Arab, Amarno. He was feeling very sorry for himself as only a month before hand he had sliced his hoof from the bulb to the front, very lucky he didn't bleed to death! He is on the mend now and will be back in work real soon, the two of them really gel, thinks its cos dd is so calm and quiet lol. Second layout is of my gorgeous youngest dd with Rex Bear from kindy. They get to bring Rex Bear home for a few days then Mum gets to write a short story on what adventures they got up to. She loved Rex so much we had to get one similar so she could have one of her very own :)

Simple Stories Remember When paper, DA Foilage, Birdcage Chippie, MS punch, Kaiser Bloom, Stampin up! bird and branch, Green Tara buds, Gem bling, Muslin, TH Distress Ink, Kaiser Rubons, Pearls, Kindyglitz and Glossy Accents.
Close ups!

Bo Bunny Gabrielle Romance paper, Prima Spray, Prima Flowers, Handmade flowers, Kaiser Swirls, Collection Butterflies, Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type, Glitter Alpha Stickers.

Close Ups!

Thank you for taking the time to drop on by! School holidays start here this afternoon, woohoo! Have a great weekend and I hope you find a little time to enjoy being creative :)

Dream

On the third week every month Let's Scrap do a card sketch, I don't usually make many cards but always up for a challenge lol! Was a quick card as I had left it to the last minute, something I seem to be doing alot of these days. Below is my take on this months card sketch but as you can see I had to flip the sketch as I wanted the cameo to be facing in, somewhere sometime ago I remember doing a layout class and the instructor always suggested that photos etc look into the middle of the page, hmm makes sense!

Bazzill cardstock, Kaiser playlist, Cameo, lace, mini roses, organza ribbon, rubon and handmade stick pin!
My fav thing at the moment is machine stitching, everyone seems to be doing it, such fun and adds a cool touch :)

Thanks for stopping by, hope you've had a chance to get creative!

Time flies....

so true is this... and then you realise the importance of each and every second that you live, you can never get them back! Below is a layout I did sometime ago of my cheeky little monkey who is now four! Wow just doesn't seem that long ago I was holding a tiny baby in my arms, hard to believe she is in kindy and will be full time school in just a few months :( The photos were taken in a park way back in January.

BoBunny Jazmyne, Bazill, Prima flowers, Butterfly, Pearls and tiny alpha stickers.

Double Pager

As usual I seem to be neglecting my blog! Been busy lately, sick children still but now the weather has changed and is so much warmer, the flowers are blooming and things are looking wonderful I hope to be able to put more effect into spending time scrapping and crafting, including updating my blog :)

I did mange to finish a double layout, I don't normally do a two page spread but I really loved this sketch from Let's Scrap so thought i would give it a go.

For this sketch I used a selection of photos of Alyssa, my youngest dd riding on her Shetland pony. She adores Shawnee and loves to ride leadline whenever she can convince someone to lead her. On this day my my niece rode for the very first time my mare, her very good friend Gemma who was riding my eldest dd Welsh pony offered to take Alyssa for a ride, throughout the entire exercise all you heard was 'faster Gemma, make her trot' lol

Kaiser - cafe culture, Paper Pizazz, Graphic 45, Prima blossoms, Kaiser pearls. DMC thread, MS punch & cricut. TFL!

Have a wonderful scrappy day! Hope you find time for a little creativeness :)
