One of the techniques I like (and don't use often enough) is the peek-a-book technique, that of hiding something just behind something else! Thanks for the chance to win your great giveaway!!

Love your sample card and the colors! I am a member at LS and now a follower of your blog! I dont really have a fave technique as of yet, there asre just sooo many different ones out there!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors you used! I think my fave thing to do right now is use my Cri-Kit embosser with the metal (like on my sample card) I enjoy making my own embellies!

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I have a favorite technique, but I do like to distress the edges of my papers.
By the way the terrible weather finally cleared here and I was able to get up town and buy some of the tape to use for your amazing tutorial. Hopefully I will get a chance to use it on one of the cards I make.

DeleteSo excited that the blog has finally started, being in Australia, I am like 15 hours ahead of you girls and have been waiting an extra day.. now I wake up this morning bright and early and can FINALLY start playing with.. yipeee... thank you for all the hard work.. you girls are doing a great job ! I just love your example card and Debby has been doing a great job on the card sketches.. wow, how busy is she !!!

My favorite technique would have to be making my own flowers.. there are so many different varieties out there that you cannot get bored.. love paper flowers.. and you can custom them as you wish..

ReplyDeleteHi Sue. Its my first time visit here and I love it. I have become a follower here. Loving your sketch for the blog hop and your take on it is gorgeous, not to speak of the yummy candy. My favourite technique in cardmaking is iris folding and in scrapbooking it is combining different {Doing Life} templates to incorporate lots of photos onto a double page layout.

ReplyDeleteI have no one particular technique - I just go with the flow. Then again, I am a minimalist and I like clean and simple.
