Just don’t seem to be able to find the time these days to do much scrapbooking. Even with going to a crop night last Friday with friends and having a long weekend which is now coming to an end, always start something but never seem to finish it. Hopefully will find time this week to finish my current project, Twiddlybitz shadowbox. Here is a layout I started a while back and not had a chance to put up. It started as a challenge, I had to choose a fellow bloggers LO and ‘scraplift’ or 'case' it but the challenge finished ages ago (see what I mean!) The flowers are from a tutorial that the talented Shona from Such a Wonderful Mess showed last weekend on her blog which I just had to try and can be found here , so easy and look fab! Lots and lots of beautiful flower tuts on Shona’s blog, make sure you stop by and visit, enjoy!
The layout I chose to 'scraplift' from
Kissy's blog
Used Prima Avondale reverse side, Basic Grey Sweet Lavendar, bazzill & Kaiser. Flowers were handmade, (see above) doily and Collections acetate butterflies inked with ranger alcohol inks.
Thanks for taking the time and stopping by. Hope your all getting time to play and create :)
Awesome lift Sue, I love your color choices too
ReplyDeleteVery nice layout! I love how you distressed the edges of the paper and the 3 purple flowers, the butterly and the flower cluster underneath the pic are absolutely beautiful!
