Shabby Chic mini chair

Oh my the postie was on time yesterday and delivered my parcel and I just had to make a start right away! As soon as I saw this adorable little shabby chic pin cushion chair I knew I just had to make one!! I love it, so tiny it only stands at 3 1/2 inches but its just the cutest little thing!! and takes no time to create. It comes in a kit form from the gorgeous Maxines Melange an online shop filled with awesome papercraft delights including unique creative project kits and the miniture pin cushion chair can be found here. I had so much fun creating this I want to do another one. Make sure you stop by Maxines and have a look around, guaranteed to have you in awe!!
Had to smile at my darling daughter who is 10 as she thought it was for her fairy house! An excuse to make another! :)

She is so adorable and we love her to bits! She started kindy this year, only three years old and such a tiny little thing, still a baby and having to go to school, she LOVES it, me, well I miss her terribly! I love these photos, in her excitement she kept looking straight into the camera flash lol!

My Eldest Boy

Well I am finally finding a few minutes spare and updating my blog, sorry I seem to have neglected it over the last few days. Not often you can get photos of teenagers :) He may be nearly 17 and 6ft 2in but he is still and will always be my baby!! He is turning into a lovely young man and I am so proud of him! A little nervous too as he heads off to Bali in 3 days with his mate!

Using up my Kaiser stash! Used Extreme, usual inked edges, Twidleybitz Clock with gears, DA flags, Fiscars Chipboard Monogram, Twine, Tickets & Label Machine.

Thanks for dropping by and taking a look

Pout

Just don’t seem to be able to find the time these days to do much scrapbooking. Even with going to a crop night last Friday with friends and having a long weekend which is now coming to an end, always start something but never seem to finish it. Hopefully will find time this week to finish my current project, Twiddlybitz shadowbox. Here is a layout I started a while back and not had a chance to put up. It started as a challenge, I had to choose a fellow bloggers LO and ‘scraplift’ or 'case' it but the challenge finished ages ago (see what I mean!) The flowers are from a tutorial that the talented Shona from Such a Wonderful Mess showed last weekend on her blog which I just had to try and can be found here , so easy and look fab! Lots and lots of beautiful flower tuts on Shona’s blog, make sure you stop by and visit, enjoy!

The layout I chose to 'scraplift' from Kissy's blog

Used Prima Avondale reverse side, Basic Grey Sweet Lavendar, bazzill & Kaiser. Flowers were handmade, (see above) doily and Collections acetate butterflies inked with ranger alcohol inks.

Thanks for taking the time and stopping by. Hope your all getting time to play and create :)

Evening all! Imagine my surprise when I checked my blog this evening to see I have been awarded another award from an amazing blogger, the lovely Andrea over @ Scrapality so please check out Andrea's awesome blog and give her & her blog some love!!  I really love blogging and enjoy checking out all the talented and creative bloggers out there. One of the hardest things is to gain followers! I am so very touched Andrea that you thought of me! Thank you soooo much!
Now this award is designed to recognize bloggers who have fewer than 300 followers, but who put a lot of love into their work. For me to accept this award, I am to spread the love by recognizing up to 5 blogs whose work that I admire and that I follow. So many I admire and follow, its hard to only chose a few, they all need to be reongised :)
