Trinket Box

February is almost over and with it comes to an end Let's Scrap's awesome 'Leap around the World' blog hop. Its been so much fun and if you are here for the hop please go HERE

Now what with making cards for the LEAP etc (and NO! I didn't get all 50 done!) I haven't done much else but I did find the time at a crop the other week at my local shop to make up this cute little Trinket Box. It's one of those tiny boxes from the dollar stores and I just painted and covered it and then added some lovely embellishments, so simple and really quite easy and quick to make :)

I used the very lovely Kaiser 'These Days' paper collection, punched retro flower and added a resin centre, tulle,TH adage ticket, feather, lace, hat pin, MS punched butterfly with added kaiser bling.

I have a few things in the pipeline and hope to be able to share them soon. Thanks for dropping on by, would love to know what you think of this little treasure :)

Have a very happy scrappy week! Xx

He will break Hearts

Happy Valentine's Day

remember its not just about couples, its about Love to share!
so think about those you love and show you care!

Beautiful flowers my wonderful DH gave me this morning! Love him so much!

If you are here to play along in Let's Scraps awesome month log blog hop 'Leap around the World' then you need to go HERE

Let's Scrap Sketch 2-8-12

I really loved the sketch over at Let's Scrap and attempted to do a masculine layout instead of all the flowery layouts I so love! So hard doing 'boy' layouts. Anyway using my TH inks and dies I played and fiddled and grunged up the page and I am actually quite happy with the outcome.

My handsome boy is sure 'to break hearts one day!'
Love this photo, taken Rockingham Foreshore in January.

Kaiser Hunt & gather reverse, TH Inks, Craft Tag, Collections winged heart, TH On the Edge Steampunk die, TH Mini bird & cage die, Twiddleybitz sprockets, buttons, twine, ric rac, Dymo labeler.

I hope you have been able to spend sometime today with those you love. Thanks for stopping by!
